From sponsoring advanced safety training for Idaho State Police troopers to helping bring K-9 Strider, a therapy dog, into local schools, our mission of equipping and uplifting law enforcement continues to grow stronger. In The News!
ISP Trooper Safety Training Sponsored by GIFPF
The Foundation recently funded advanced safety training for Idaho State Police District 6 troopers at Soma Jiu-Jitsu in Idaho Falls. Troopers are now receiving weekly instruction in control and restraint techniques designed to improve safety and reduce the need for force. Support also included new equipment such as a wrestling mat, radar unit, cold-weather search gloves, and cooling vests.

🐾 Meet K-9 Strider – East Idaho’s New Therapy Dog
Thanks to a $12,000 donation from the Foundation, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office has welcomed Strider, a therapy K-9 who will serve in local schools. Strider will support a School Resource Officer, helping to calm students with special needs and assist in crisis situations.
